Yesterday I celebrated my 39th birthday. A lazy, indulgent morning (birthday cake for breakfast, presents including two gorgeous and detailed maps of the Peak District) was followed by a trip to the Merry Maidens stone circle and then a leisurely visit to the Minack Theatre. Inspirational and emotional, all in glorious warm sunshine that showed off my newly cut and dyed red hair wonderfully.
Got some money from my sister in law. Spent it just now on a collection of Coil's equinox cds, which was just what I'd always wanted and wasn't for sale at a take the piss price. Jhonn Balance may be dead, but certain people are happy to milk money out of the tragedy.
